Cultural Bridge

I am an entrepreneur with Indonesian roots aiming to build a cultural bridge between Indonesia and the Netherlands, particularly in fashion and craftsmanship, emphasizing trust, love, and passion.

Social Impact

Inspired by my experiences in Indonesia, including encounters with poverty and resilience, I advocate for socially conscious entrepreneurship. Supporting local Indonesian brands, creating a network, and positively impacting both countries are my goals.

Craftsmanship and Collaboration

The business focuses on artisanal clothing and shoes, endorsing collaboration across sectors like leather goods and jewelry. Collaboration among passionate individuals in Indonesia and the Netherlands takes center stage, with Amsterdam as a diverse and entrepreneurial platform.

Fabric Inspired promotes collaboration between brands, with the entrepreneur associating her name with local Indonesian brands. This is not only for exposure but also for cost savings through joint efforts, aiming for a shared future for all.
A Sustainable Journey

Turning Plastic Waste into Fashion

For decades, Indonesia’s Citarum River in Cimahi has been heavily polluted, breaking the hearts of those who cherish the land. Among them is Maron Pakes, whose love for the country led to the creation of the BPR Project—an innovative fashion initiative transforming plastic waste from the river into sustainable fabrics.

The project blends traditional Indonesian patterns with contemporary designs, preserving cultural heritage while addressing environmental issues. Through this collaboration, Pakes hopes to reduce pollution and contribute to a brighter, cleaner future.
